Return Policy

All products vary by brand and model and are subject to the return policy of the manufacturer. In some cases, returns are not accepted by the manufacturer unless the product is deemed defective. Please inquire regarding the return policy of individual items. No returns that have been opened will be accepted unless the product is deemed defective.

Items which qualify for return must be returned in the same physical condition as they were purchased, with all parts and accessories intact. We highly encourage customers to return items in their original packaging.

Any item found to be broken or malfunctioning because of use beyond regular expectations or neglect by the customer will not be accepted for return.

You must obtain a Returned Authorization # before returning an item by contacting support via email. When returning an item for an exchange, the returned item must be received by Makerspace Marketplace before a replacement item is shipped out. If you need the item sooner than that, you are welcome to purchase a replacement to be shipped out immediately. You will then be reimbursed once we receive the returned item.

Unauthorized return

Any return made by Customer without a Returned Authorization # from seller/vendor will be considered an unauthorized return (“Unauthorized Return”). Unauthorized Returns will not be subject to a refund or credit by Makerspace Marketplace.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment within 14 Days of refund approval. If for any reason we are unable to refund to the original form of payment, refunds will be issued in the form of store credit.

In the case that a package is lost in transit we will assist as much as possible, but ultimate responsibility for the loss and/or delay lies with the carrier company.

Shipping Returns / Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contact@themakerspacemarketplace.com

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

When you are shipping an item you purchased, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
